13th ICCEC in Singapore

The 13th International Conference on Clinical Ethics and Consultation had the theme “Clinical Ethics and Change in Health Care”, and was hosted by the Centre for Biomedical Ethics, National University of Singapore. It took place from May 24 to 27 2017.

Healthcare & Medical Ethics are Changing… With advancements and innovations in healthcare delivery, a rapidly aging population, and the effects of globalisation, culture, and migration, we face an increasing need to discuss best practices, debate and share ideas, and shape the evolution of healthcare ethics and professionalism. The core principles of clinical ethics for the healthcare professions need up to date contextualisation, or they may risk being lost in translation. Singapore will provide a vibrant setting for discussion of these conference themes.
